Challenge
With no SaaS management solution in place, Alegria was manually onboarding and offboarding a large, frequently changing network of external salespeople, with little visibility into the tools in use.
solution
Corma gave Alegria a single view of its applications and licenses, automating onboarding and offboarding for shared tools and putting the process directly in HR’s hands.
The Challenges
Before Corma, Alegria had no SaaS management solution, so every access change was handled by hand. For a 40-person company, that might have been manageable on its own. But Alegria also works with about 150 external salespeople who join and leave on a recurring basis, which turned onboarding and offboarding into a constant stream of manual operations.
The work also sat in the wrong place. Provisioning and deprovisioning fell to the tech team, whose real job is building internal automation for the company. Every cycle of new or departing salespeople pulled them away from that work.
Manual management created a structural problem too. Keeping access up to date meant maintaining a list somewhere else and then going into every single tool to make the changes, which in turn meant someone needed admin access to everything. That is neither practical nor secure.
Finally, Alegria’s open tool policy, while good for its people, made it hard to see what was actually in use. Without a clear inventory, the company couldn’t tell which tools were shared across everyone, which belonged to specific teams, and which licenses were no longer needed.
The results
On/offboarding
HR now triggers the process and verifies it’s completed on time, freeing the tech team to focus on building automation.
Full visibility
Corma surfaced the tools being used across the company, giving managers what they need to decide, team by team, which licenses to keep and which to drop.
Cost Savings
Regular checks in Corma catch forgotten licenses, giving Alegria what Lucian calls an obvious return on investment.
Centralisation
Regular checks in Corma catch forgotten licenses, giving Alegria what Lucian calls an obvious return on investment.
Before Corma, we had no SaaS management solution in place, so we were doing things manually. Now that we have the tool, the return on investment is obvious.
