Corma Raises €3.5M Seed Round to Revolutionise Software Licence and Access Governance

Founded in 2023, Corma is transforming software management with its platform that combines Identity Access Management (IAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). Its multi-agent system provides real-time usage visibility, precise cost reduction, risk assessment, and secure, automated access management. Corma’s innovative 360-degree data capture enables users to build a valuable database of their software portfolio usage. The company has just closed a €3.5 million Seed funding round.

International Fundraise Fuels Corma’s Expansion in Software Management in complex IT systems

The round was led by XTX Ventures and followed by Tuesday Capital, Kima Ventures, 50 Partners, Olympe Capital. Renowned business angels also participated, including Thomas Wolf, co-founder of Hugging Face, Jean-Louis Quéguiner, co-founder of Gladia, and Doreen Pernel, CSO of Scaleway.

Corma’s value proposition is cross-sectoral, appealing to partners across industries seeking to apply these innovations to their increasingly complex IT systems. As a result, Corma attracts investors eager to "contribute to a profound shift in how businesses interact with technology."

Previously focused on mid-sized companies, where existing solutions are often inadequate, Corma now aims to strengthen its presence in the mid-market segment across all sectors. To achieve this, it is building on its exceptional customer satisfaction rating of 4.8/5 on Gartner, as well as its diverse user base, which includes companies such as Brevo, Owkin, Mobilexpense, Skello, Hack The Box and Brut.

This summer, Corma was selected as the youngest company in this year’s Gartner’s Magic Quadrant in SaaS Management. Gartner also recognised Corma as the vendor with the highest speed of shipping new features.

The Rise of AI-Integrated Software Demands Enhanced Management

With the onslaught of new software applications in use in enterprises, IT managers are increasingly challenged by an increasingly complex software licence and access governance. Over eight years, the average number of applications has increased tenfold, from 8 tools on average in 2015, reaching 112 SaaS tools in 2023. Since then, the rapid adoption of AI-driven applications has only accelerated the trend.

Additionally, calculating the cost of a software portfolio is challenging and constantly evolving due to company growth, workforce expansion, new service subscriptions, and shifting business models.

A Unified Platform for Software and Access Governance

Corma’s all-in-one platform connects directly to a company’s software environment, offering visibility to all stakeholders and enabling data-driven investment decisions. Client companies reduce total software spending by up to 20% and save hundreds of hours on provisioning and access reviews.

These automations are powered by Corma’s specialized agents, which collect key data - such as license renewal terms, authorized users and usage metrics - to streamline IT team workflows. Deploying Corma’s multi-agent system within an enterprise, while capturing HR and financial context, is a first in the IT industry, positioning Corma as a leader in its field.

Corma also helps businesses manage employee access in compliance with regulatory requirements. For employees, the platform simplifies internal tool access through automated workflows and a natural-language application catalog for seamless communication.
