Zluri Acquired by Infotech: What It Means and How to Switch

If your company runs Zluri for SaaS management or identity governance and a renewal is coming up, this guide is for you: what the Infotech deal changes, what it does not, and how to switch without a gap.

As of 27 October 2026, Infotech has completed its acquisition of Zluri, and Zluri says it keeps serving existing customers as a standalone division. Nothing has been announced yet on pricing, packaging, hosting or roadmap for customers who buy Zluri directly. Infotech now sells Zluri's capabilities to its own members through a membership-based platform, so the useful move today is to get written answers and line up a tested alternative before your notice deadline.

Key takeaways

  • Infotech, formerly Info-Tech Research Group, completed its acquisition of Zluri on 14 October 2026 without disclosing the price, its first acquisition in nearly 30 years.
  • Zluri says it continues serving existing customers as a standalone division of Infotech, while its Application Discovery and IGA products become modules of Infotech's CIO Analytics platform.
  • For Infotech members, Application Discovery is available through eligible Advisory+ seats at no extra module fee, while the IGA module is billed on top based on employee count.
  • As of 27 October 2026, no change to pricing, packaging, hosting or roadmap had been announced for customers who buy Zluri directly, outside an Infotech membership.
  • According to analyst firm Lusher Advisory, Zluri will stop taking part in other analyst firms' evaluations, so Zluri customers should build their own evaluation grid before renewal.

What happened: Infotech completed its acquisition of Zluri

On 14 October 2026, Infotech announced the completion of its acquisition of Zluri, the SaaS management and identity governance and administration (IGA) provider founded in 2020 by Ritish Reddy, Chaithanya Yambari and Sethu Meenakshisundaram (Infotech press release). The terms were not disclosed. Zluri, headquartered in Bengaluru, says it serves more than 250 organizations, including monday.com, Tipalti and BambooHR.

Infotech is a research and advisory firm, not a software vendor. Founded in 1997 by Joel McLean and known until this announcement as Info-Tech Research Group, it says it serves more than 30,000 IT leaders. Zluri is its first acquisition in nearly 30 years, as TechTarget reported. The same day, Infotech launched CIO Analytics, a platform that connects members' IT systems to its research and analysts, with three modules: Service Desk Analytics, Application Discovery and Identity Governance and Administration. Zluri powers the last two.

Ritish Reddy, co-founder and CEO of Zluri, framed the logic this way: "The next era of IT won't be won by software or by legacy advisory alone. It will be won by bringing them together." Tom Zehren, CEO of Infotech, as quoted by TechTarget: "We want to connect our guidance more closely to the systems CIOs manage and the actions their teams need to take."

The deal caps a busy month: Freshworks announced an agreement to acquire Torii on 12 October (what it means for Torii customers), and Workday announced its agreement to acquire C1, formerly ConductorOne, the next day (our guide for C1 customers). Three things set the Zluri deal apart: it is already completed, the buyer is an advisory firm that sells memberships, and it raises a question the others do not: how independent evaluations of Zluri will work from now on.

Here is what is confirmed and what is still open, based on sources dated 14 October 2026.

What changes for Zluri customers?

In the short term, very little. Zluri's announcement post says it will keep serving existing customers as a standalone division of Infotech, with its team based in Bengaluru. According to Lusher Advisory, which was briefed by Infotech, Zluri keeps selling under its own name and Ritish Reddy remains CEO, reporting directly to Tom Zehren. None of the announcements we reviewed mentions a change to existing contracts, instances or support. Confirm it in writing anyway.

What may change over time

  • Product priorities. Zluri's Application Discovery and IGA products are now core modules of CIO Analytics, so one roadmap has to serve both Infotech members and direct customers, a tension Lusher Advisory also flags.
  • Pricing and packaging. TechTarget reports that access to CIO Analytics depends on Infotech membership packages: Application Discovery is available through eligible Advisory+ seats at no additional module fee, while IGA costs extra, priced on employee count. Nothing has been announced for direct customers.
  • Hosting. Zluri's sub-processor page, updated on 5 June 2026, still states that production systems sit in co-location facilities in the United States. Our Zluri review for European mid-market teams explains what that means under the GDPR.

Fewer independent benchmarks at renewal

One consequence of this deal is unusual: it concerns evaluations. According to an analysis by Carter Lusher's firm, Lusher Advisory, Infotech has removed Zluri and the whole SaaS management and IGA categories from SoftwareReviews, its software review site, and its analysts no longer give independent vendor recommendations there. Lusher also reports that Zluri "will no longer take part in other analyst firms' evaluations". Zluri had been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS Management Platforms in 2024 and 2025.

Method note: on 27 October 2026, Zluri's product page on softwarereviews.com returned a "page not found" error, and the site's category index listed no category named SaaS management or identity governance and administration. This shows the state of the site on that date, not when the change was made.

For a buyer, the practical effect is fewer neutral reference points at your next renewal. Build your own evaluation grid from data you control: coverage of your apps and identity provider, quality of access review evidence, hosting region, total cost at renewal, written roadmap commitments and support response times. A proof of concept on your own stack gives you evidence that applies to your environment.

Three plausible scenarios (our reading, not an announcement)

  • Two tracks in parallel. Zluri keeps selling its standalone product, while the same capabilities reach Infotech members through CIO Analytics. Direct customers renew much as before.
  • Membership-led packaging. Over time, renewals are steered toward Infotech packages, where Application Discovery runs through advisory seats and IGA is billed on top.
  • A mixed model. Existing direct contracts are honored to term, while new packaging applies to new deals.

None of these scenarios has been confirmed. In our reading, organizations that already hold an Infotech membership are the customers this combination is built for; teams that use Zluri purely as software have more open questions.

Should you stay, renegotiate or switch?

Your starting position depends on four things: Infotech membership, renewal timing, data residency requirements and your audit calendar. Many Zluri customers will reasonably stay; others will want leverage at renewal or a tested alternative.

Stay, renegotiate or switch: a starting position

You need a public, predictable priceEvaluate alternatives with published pricingZluri publishes no price list, and for Infotech members the IGA module is billed on top by employee count.

What should you check in your Zluri contract?

Gather your order form, master agreement and data processing agreement (DPA), and go through eight points before your renewal call. This is a checklist, not legal advice: how each clause applies to you is a question for your legal team. Ask for every answer in writing.

  • Change of control and assignment. Check whether your agreement covers an acquisition of the vendor or a transfer to an affiliate. Question to ask your account manager: "Does our contract stay with the same Zluri entity, and does the acquisition trigger any clause in it?"
  • Renewal date and notice period. What matters is the last day to send a non-renewal notice, and its required form. Our guide to managing SaaS vendor renewals shows how to track it. Question to ask your account manager: "By when and in what form must a non-renewal notice be sent?"
  • Price protection and membership. Look for a cap on price increases, and make sure renewal does not depend on joining Infotech. Question to ask your account manager: "Will our current price and plan be honored at renewal without an Infotech membership?"
  • Data export. Your app inventory, licenses, contracts, owners, renewal dates and access review history are what you need to leave cleanly. Question to ask your account manager: "Which data can we export, including past access review campaigns, in which formats, and for how long after termination?"
  • DPA and sub-processors. Check how you are told about new sub-processors and whether you can object. Question to ask your account manager: "Will Infotech entities process our data, and how will we be notified?"
  • Data location. Confirm the hosting region, especially if your policies or customers require EU hosting. Question to ask your account manager: "Where is our data hosted today, and is an EU region available or planned?"
  • SLA and support. Service levels and escalation contacts matter most while two companies integrate. Question to ask your account manager: "Do our SLA, support channels and named contacts stay the same?"
  • Roadmap of the standalone product. A written commitment protects the features and integrations you rely on. Question to ask your account manager: "Will the standalone Zluri product and our integrations be maintained for our full contract term?"

If the answers leave gaps on price, hosting or roadmap, evaluate an alternative before your notice deadline, while you still have a real choice. You can book a Corma demo on your own app stack to see what a switch would involve.

Migration checklist: how to switch from Zluri without a gap

Switching without a gap means the new platform is connected, reconciled with your Zluri data and running your workflows and access reviews before your Zluri renewal date. Plan backwards from your notice deadline, in five phases.

  1. Inventory and export. Export the application inventory, licenses, contracts and renewal dates, app owners, your workflows and the evidence of past access reviews (scope, reviewers, decisions, timestamps). Keep a dated, read-only copy for your auditors.
  2. Connect the new platform through your identity provider. Start with your IdP (Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or JumpCloud), then finance and HR sources. Rebuild your automated provisioning and onboarding flows before switching anything off.
  3. Run both platforms in parallel. Reconcile apps, spend and owners against your Zluri export. Let any access review campaign running in Zluri finish there, and launch the next one with automated access reviews in the new tool, so auditors see continuous coverage.
  4. Cut over before the renewal date. Send your non-renewal notice in the required form, move renewal reminders and app owners, and name the new source of truth.
  5. Decommission. Disconnect Zluri integrations, revoke its API tokens and OAuth grants, remove any browser extension, archive the final export and request written confirmation of data deletion under your DPA.

Give phases 1 and 3 the most time: the export decides what you can prove to an auditor, and the parallel run keeps an app, a license or a leaver from slipping through.

Why Corma for Zluri customers?

Corma is a European SaaS management and IAM platform, founded in Paris in 2023, that combines software visibility, spend control and identity governance in one independent product. Four points are worth comparing.

  • An independent software vendor. Corma has no research, advisory or membership business. It was recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS Management Platforms in 2025 and 2026.
  • EU hosting on every plan. Customer data is hosted in the EU on all plans, and Corma is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified.
  • SaaS management and IAM together. SaaS management and automated identity governance (provisioning, deprovisioning, joiner-mover-leaver, access reviews) share the same data, with native connectors for Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta and JumpCloud.
  • Public pricing and a fast start. The free plan covers up to 10 apps, and Essential starts at €3 per user per month on an annual commitment (Corma pricing). Go-live usually takes less than a month, and Corma's stated objective is to cut SaaS costs by up to 30%.

FAQ: Zluri and the Infotech acquisition

Is Zluri shutting down?

No shutdown has been announced. Zluri says it continues serving existing customers as a standalone division of Infotech, with its team based in Bengaluru.

Who acquired Zluri and when?

Infotech, the IT research and advisory firm formerly called Info-Tech Research Group, announced on 14 October 2026 that it had completed its acquisition of Zluri. The terms were not disclosed.

Do I need an Infotech membership to keep using Zluri?

No membership requirement had been announced as of 27 October 2026, and Lusher Advisory reports that Zluri keeps selling outside the membership. Direct customers should still ask for their terms in writing.

Will Zluri pricing change after the acquisition?

No change has been announced for direct Zluri customers. For Infotech members, the IGA module of CIO Analytics is billed on top of membership, based on employee count. Ask for your current price to be confirmed in writing.

Can I export my data and access review history from Zluri?

It depends on your contract and the product. Ask which data you can export, including past access review campaigns, in which formats and for how long after termination, then archive that evidence for your full audit period.

How long does a migration from Zluri take?

It depends on your apps, integrations, workflows and running access reviews. Plan a parallel run so the new platform is live before your Zluri notice deadline. With Corma, go-live usually takes less than a month.

What are the best Zluri alternatives for mid-market companies?

It depends on your identity provider, data residency needs and whether you need SaaS management, identity governance or both. Corma is one EU-hosted option covering both; our list of SaaS management solutions for mid-sized companies covers others.

The bottom line

The acquisition is complete, and for now Zluri keeps its name, its team and its existing customers. What changes is the frame around the product: an advisory firm with a membership model as owner, CIO Analytics as a second home for its modules and, according to Lusher Advisory, fewer independent evaluations to lean on at renewal. Use the time before your notice deadline to get written answers on price, hosting and roadmap, and to test an alternative on your own data.
