This review is for IT managers and heads of IT at European companies with 50 to 500 employees who have Zluri on a shortlist, a quote in hand or a renewal coming up.
Zluri is a capable identity governance and SaaS management platform, but it is built and sold for enterprise buyers. It publishes no price list, Vendr's buyer data puts its median contract at $36,820 a year, and its own sub-processor page places production systems in the United States. For a European mid-market team, that means budget talks start from a sales quote and EU data leaves the EU under transfer clauses rather than staying under residency. Zluri's discovery and renewal tracking are strong, yet neither replaces market price benchmarks when you negotiate.
Key takeaways
- Zluri runs its production systems in US co-location facilities, so EU data relies on SCCs and the Data Privacy Framework, not residency.
- Zluri publishes no price list: Vendr's marketplace puts the median Zluri contract at $36,820 a year, from $14,045 to $75,900.
- Zluri tracks renewals with AI contract parsing and 30, 60 or 90-day reminders, but advertises no price benchmarks for negotiation.
- Zluri discovers apps partly through browser extensions and desktop agents, which in Germany typically require works council co-determination.

What problems does Zluri solve in 2026?
Zluri is an identity governance and SaaS management platform that discovers the applications a company uses, controls who can access them and tracks what they cost. In 2026 the vendor leads with identity: its homepage title reads "Next-Gen Identity Governance and Administration" and describes a product that helps "enterprise security and IT teams govern identities, automate access reviews, and enforce least privilege" (zluri.com).
The Zluri SaaS management platform is still there, sold next to separate products for access management, access requests and access reviews. In March 2026, Help Net Security covered Zluri's push into identity security across SaaS, cloud and AI, including non-human identities (Help Net Security, 23 March 2026).
In practice, Zluri covers five jobs:
- Discovery of sanctioned and unsanctioned apps, including shadow IT.
- License optimization: assigned versus unassigned licenses, usage and spend by department.
- Contract and renewal tracking with a central repository.
- Lifecycle automation: provisioning and deprovisioning during onboarding and offboarding.
- Identity governance: access requests, access reviews and audit evidence for SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
Is Zluri a SaaS management tool or an identity governance tool?
Both, and which half you get depends on the modules you buy. Competing vendors disagree on where Zluri is strong. Torii's comparison page says "Zluri is great at provisioning" (Torii). Lumos says the opposite: Zluri "found every app running across your company", but did not "tell you who inside those apps holds admin rights they shouldn't" (Lumos, July 2026).
Zluri's own navigation settles it: SaaS Management, Access Management and Access Reviews are listed as distinct products. Each competitor describes the half of Zluri that overlaps least with its own offer. For a buyer, the practical point is simple: ask Zluri which capabilities sit in which module, because the quote follows the module list.
Is Zluri built for a 50 to 500 person company?
Zluri can serve a mid-market company, but the vendor targets enterprises first. Siit's August 2026 review calls Zluri a platform "for mid-market IT and security teams" (Siit). Zluri's own homepage speaks to "enterprise security and IT teams". When a vendor and a reviewer disagree on the target buyer, the vendor's positioning tells you where its roadmap, support model and pricing are aimed.
IT managers who evaluated Zluri describe the same gap in their own words:
- Scope: "We did demos with Torii and Zluri but both felt like overkill for where we are" (r/ITManagers).
- Buying process: "Zluri require sales pitches, and various meetings and approvals" (r/ITManagers).
- Base cost: one buyer quoted "US$15k/base per year" before add-ons (r/ITManagers, "zluri pricing").
The arithmetic points the same way. At Vendr's median contract, the cost per employee only drops below $10 a month from about 300 employees upward (see the pricing table below). Zluri is therefore a reasonable fit at the upper end of the mid-market: 300 to 500 employees, a dedicated IT operations person to run the platform, heavy identity governance needs and no EU residency requirement.
How much does Zluri cost?
Zluri does not publish its prices. On 28 September 2026, the zluri.com/pricing URL redirected to a demo request form with no plan names, per-user rates or billing terms. The most useful public benchmark is Vendr's marketplace, which puts the median Zluri contract at $36,820 per year, with a low of $14,045 and a high of $75,900 (Vendr).
Zluri pricing signals (checked 28 September 2026)
| Signal | Figure | What it covers | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official price list | None | Pricing URL redirects to a demo form | zluri.com |
| Vendr median contract | $36,820 per year | Median of Zluri contracts in Vendr's buyer data | vendr.com |
| Vendr range | $14,045 to $75,900 per year | Low and high contract values | vendr.com |
| Buyer report | "US$15k/base per year" | Base platform before add-on modules | r/ITManagers |
What does that mean per employee?
Vendr's figures are not broken down by company size, so treat the table below as an order of magnitude. It divides each annual contract value by 12 and by headcount, assuming every employee is a managed user.
Zluri contract values per employee per month (USD)
| Employees | At Vendr low ($14,045) | At Vendr median ($36,820) | At Vendr high ($75,900) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | $11.70 | $30.68 | $63.25 |
| 200 | $5.85 | $15.34 | $31.63 |
| 500 | $2.34 | $6.14 | $12.65 |
Calculation: annual contract value / 12 / employees. Not a quote: module mix and user basis change the result.
By comparison, Corma publishes its entry price: a free plan, and an Essential plan for visibility and spend starting at €3 per user per month on an annual commitment, with Pro and Enterprise quoted on request (Corma's published pricing). At 200 users, the Essential entry price is €7,200 a year before any Pro modules. The two numbers are not like-for-like, but a published starting point shortens the budget conversation with finance.
What should you ask Zluri's sales team?
- Module scope: which of SaaS management, access management, access requests and access reviews are in the quote.
- User basis: all employees, identities discovered, or licensed admins.
- Currency and invoicing entity: EUR or GBP billing, and which Zluri entity signs.
- Renewal terms: uplift cap and auto-renewal. Vendr's negotiation notes say that "removing auto-renewal can provide significant negotiation leverage".
- Data location: whether any EU hosting option exists in writing (see the next section).
Where does Zluri host your data, and is that enough under GDPR?
Zluri hosts customer service data in the United States. Its sub-processor page, updated on 5 June 2026, states: "Currently, the Zluri production systems for the Services are located in co-location facilities in the United States. The Subscriber's Service Data remains in that region" (Zluri sub-processors). The page names no EU location.
Zluri covers the transfer legally rather than avoiding it:
- Standard Contractual Clauses: Zluri's data processing addendum, updated on 30 March 2026, incorporates the Commission's 2021/914 clauses (Module Two, controller to processor), the UK addendum and transfer impact assessments (Zluri DPA).
- EU-US Data Privacy Framework: Zluri's privacy policy, updated on 22 June 2026, says it adheres to the DPF principles (Zluri privacy policy). The DPF rests on the Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Decision (EU) 2023/1795).
- Certifications: Zluri lists GDPR, SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 27701 and PCI-DSS on its security page, and runs on AWS (Zluri security).
- Company data: the same privacy policy, which covers personal data Zluri collects as a company, names a registered office in Hyderabad, India, and says that information is stored and processed in India or wherever its partners maintain facilities.
A lawful transfer is not the same as residency. Under the GDPR, Zluri acts as your processor (Article 28), and sending identity, usage and contract data to the US is a third-country transfer under Chapter V (Articles 44 and 46). Your records of processing must show it, and your DPO has to be comfortable with it.
For companies in scope of NIS2, Article 21(2)(d) adds "supply chain security, including security-related aspects concerning the relationships between each entity and its direct suppliers or service providers" (Directive (EU) 2022/2555). A platform that holds your full application and access map is exactly that kind of supplier, so its hosting and sub-processors belong in your supplier risk file.
Corma takes the other route. Its security page states that "web servers and databases run on servers in secure data centers inside the European Union", on AWS, and that Corma is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified with annual independent audits (Corma's security and hosting commitments).
EU residency is a hard requirement for your DPO? Book a demo of Corma's EU-hosted platform and ask for the sub-processor list before you compare quotes.
Does Zluri discover shadow IT and SaaS spend?
Yes. Discovery is one of Zluri's strongest capabilities. Zluri advertises "9 levels of app discovery", more than 300 out-of-the-box integrations and a catalog of more than 239,000 applications (Zluri app discovery). Its platform pages list desktop agents and browser extensions next to direct integrations and open APIs.
On the spend side, Zluri reports user activity, assigned and unassigned licenses, spend by department and risk categories in one view. That combination answers the questions a finance team asks first: which tools do we pay for, who uses them, and which licenses sit idle.
Discovery is also where Corma customers see their first results. Hivenet reports 87 shadow IT tools discovered and risk-assessed after rollout; its Chief of Staff, Christophe Torride, says: "Our starting point with Corma was cost control and tool governance" (Hivenet's SaaS management case study). The definition and risks are covered in Corma's shadow IT glossary entry.
What does agent-based discovery mean for a European workforce?
Browser extensions and desktop agents see what employees open, so in Europe they are also an employment law question. In Germany, section 87(1) no. 6 of the Works Constitution Act gives the works council co-determination over the introduction and use of technical devices designed to monitor employees' behavior or performance (BetrVG § 87). A browser extension that records which applications each employee uses fits that description. In France, the CSE must be informed and consulted before the company deploys "means or techniques" that allow employee activity to be monitored (Labour Code, Article L2312-38).
Employees notice these tools. One Reddit thread is simply titled "How to remove this zluri web extension?" (r/chrome). The rule applies to every vendor, Corma's browser extension included. Plan the works council agreement or employee notice before the rollout, or start with integration-based discovery (identity provider, finance data) and add agents once the agreement is signed.
Is Zluri's renewal and contract tracking enough to negotiate renewals?
Zluri gives you enough visibility to never miss a renewal, but not enough to know whether the price is right. Its contract management module parses PDF contracts to extract "terms, licenses, renewal dates, payment details", sends reminders "30, 60, or 90 days before the due date to avoid auto-renewals" and tracks license true-ups and true-downs (Zluri contract management).
A negotiation needs more than a date and a usage count. It needs to know what similar companies pay, and that data sits outside the tool.
What a renewal negotiation needs vs what Zluri provides
| Negotiation input | In Zluri? | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Renewal date and notice period | Yes | Contract repository, AI parsing, 30/60/90-day reminders |
| Actual usage per license | Yes | Discovery, license utilization reports |
| True-up and true-down history | Yes | Contract module |
| Market price benchmark | Not advertised on Zluri's product pages | Buying platforms such as Vendr, peer networks, your own history |
| Negotiation playbook | Not advertised on Zluri's product pages | Procurement team, finance, outside advisors |
To turn Zluri's data into leverage, start 90 days before the renewal date. Pull the license utilization report, list the seats nobody has used in the last 60 days, and set the renewal quote against an outside benchmark. Vendr's negotiation notes for Zluri itself recommend anchoring "at a budget requirement significantly below the proposed uplift" and "presenting other competitors as viable options". Zluri supplies the first half of that file; the market supplies the second.
Usage data is where the savings come from in practice. Brevo reports up to 20% cost reduction after renewal using Corma, and its Finance Manager, Stefan Schaper, says the team uses it "to track expenses, identify cost savings potential and stay on top of all our tools" (Brevo's renewal results with Corma). For a step-by-step method, see Corma's guide to SaaS vendor renewal management.

Zluri leads on breadth: more integrations, more certifications and a deeper identity security roadmap. Corma answers the three questions this review raised for European mid-market buyers: EU hosting, a published entry price and a free starting point.
What are the alternatives to Zluri for a European mid-market team?
The right alternative depends on the job you are hiring the tool for. IT managers ask this question constantly (see "Which SaaS spend management tool do you recommend" on r/ITManagers). Here is how the main options describe themselves on their homepages:
- Torii: "SaaS and AI Management" that "discovers your entire SaaS and AI stack, reclaims wasted spend, and automates onboarding and offboarding". Look at it for spend and lifecycle workflows.
- Lumos: "Identity Management for the Agentic Era", with agents that govern access for humans, non-human identities and AI. Look at it for identity-first programs.
- CloudEagle: "Enterprise AI Governance and SaaS Management Platform". Look at it when procurement and AI governance lead the project.
- Corma: SaaS management plus access management, hosted in the EU, with a free plan. Look at it when EU residency and a 50 to 500 employee footprint drive the choice.
Whichever you shortlist, ask each vendor for its sub-processor list and hosting region in writing. Corma's 2026 guide to choosing a SaaS management platform gives a full evaluation grid.
Verdict: when is Zluri the right call?
Zluri is the right call when identity governance is the priority, the budget sits in Vendr's range and US hosting is acceptable. It is a weaker fit when any of those three conditions fails.
Choose Zluri if:
- you have 300 or more employees and someone who can own the platform day to day;
- access reviews, non-human identities and identity security posture are on this year's roadmap;
- your DPO accepts SCCs and the DPF for identity and usage data;
- a sales-led process and module-based pricing fit your procurement cycle.
Look elsewhere if:
- EU data residency is a contractual or policy requirement;
- finance wants a published price before the first call;
- you need visibility and license savings first, and governance later;
- your works council or CSE has not yet approved agent-based monitoring.
How Corma helps European mid-market IT teams
Corma is a European SaaS management and access management platform built for small and mid-sized companies. It combines discovery, spend and renewal tracking with automated access reviews and provisioning, and it hosts its servers and databases in the EU.
- EU hosting and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, with annual independent audits.
- Published pricing: a free plan to start, then Essential from €3 per user per month.
- One platform for IT and finance: see the full scope of Corma's SaaS management platform.
- Recognized by Gartner: in June 2026, COO Nikolai Fomm announced that Corma was named in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS Management Platforms "for the second year in a row" (Corma in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant).
On security, CTO Samuel Bismut puts it plainly: "ISO 27001 is a key requirement for us at Corma even at such an early stage to ensure to all our clients our commitment in building strong security management practices."
"Before Corma we tried different solutions but they were either ineffective or inadapted to our company size."
Nathan Hartman, IT Admin at Skello, a 230-person company. Results: 110 shadow IT tools detected and risk-assessed, 140 employees onboarded and offboarded automatically, €2,000 saved monthly (Skello's IT automation case study).
